New Jordans 2018 and Drake will be releasing two colorways of the Air Jordan 8 OVO collaboration to celebrate NBA All-Star Weekend. The Air Jordan VIII is the latest special-edition OVO project. It boasts a premium leather construction in smooth, tumbled and perforated surfaces. A bright white shade ties them all together. Flecks of gold take the colorway from clean to rich. To seal the tribute, details on the heel loop and sockliner call out to October's Very Own. White tumbled leather makes up most of the design while Varsity Red is seen on the Jumpman-branded tongue patch. Other details include OVO branding and owl logos throughout to complete the design.
Drake's OVO label and New Air Jordan Shoes will be collaborating once again on a pair of Air Jordan 8 OVO colorways releasing in "White" and "Black" iterations. Last month, Drake's OVO brand finally revealed the February release date for its Air Jordan 8 collaboration, arriving in contrasting black and white colorways with red and metallic gold accents. The black pair features features a mix of tumbled leather and perforated suede, while the white sticks with leather, also rendered in tumbled and perforated variations. Rounding out the details are Jumpan logo hits on the tongue and custom dual branding on the sockliners.
Following the unveiling of the first-ever New Jordans 2017 All-Star Edition uniforms, the brand will bring together a new generation during All-Star Week with global product launches, elevated experiences, co-creation opportunities and community engagement in celebration of the Jumpman's higher standard of greatness. Featuring a perm leather upper constructed in a mix of smooth, tumbled and perforated detailing. Flecks of Gold add for a rich contrast, while having October's Very Own Owl logo on the back pull tabs and insole.
